My name is Laura Petruzziello and I am currently studying web design at Humber College in Ontario, Canada. Before starting at Humber College, I studied Communications at York University for 2 years, until I realized that the Communcations program was not for me; I was a bit too artsy to be happy there. I had no idea what to do with myself, but I knew that I've always loved design, and that right clicking, and viewing source wasn't me being nosey, I was just being curious! So curious that I began to analyze, and try to break down every code, on every page that I would come by. And so, being the keener that I am, I decided to apply to Humber College so that I could learn from the professionals.

Felice Fawn Photography | Flash Site

Final Flash assignment from first year. We were to contact a photographer and create a mock portfolio gallery site for him/her. I chose the extremely, talented Felice Fawn. The design was created in Photoshop, and the animation effects were done using action script in Flash.

U R Designs | Flex Inspirational Showcase

One of the first sites I've made using Adobe Flex. We were to create a site which showcases inspirational works for designers alike. The design was created in Photoshop, and the information and images for each site are populated by an XML file, and the transitions and effects were done with action script.

Jennifer Abadesso | Album Art

I was lucky enough to design singer/songwriter Jennifer Abadesso's album art for her upcoming album Exposé. While Ian Brown deserves credit for his stunning photography, all of the designing was done by me using Photoshop and Illustrator.
